REPAIR & UPGRADES

Machines that won’t boot, run hot, or have just gotten slow.

Crashes under load, thermal throttling, drives that are failing or already have, and upgrades that actually help rather than the ones that sound good. Diagnosis is part of the free visit.

You’ll also get an honest answer when the machine isn’t worth the money. I would rather tell you that and keep your number than sell you $400 of parts for a computer that needs replacing.

The part you’re paying for

Anyone can generate a parts list now. Fewer people can tell you why that memory kit won’t post at its rated speed on that board, or what the cooler you picked will really do in a case with one intake fan. Ten years of builds is where that comes from, and it’s the difference between a parts list and a machine.

We’ll talk on the phone first — five minutes, so I know what to bring and you know who’s coming. Then I come see it, and that visit is free. If what you’ve got is a ten-minute fix you can do yourself, I’ll show you and head out. You get a quote only if there’s real work worth doing, and only if it fits what you actually need and want to spend.
